We run and walk so the people of Zambia do not have to fetch water everyday.
for Water in Zambia
2010-2011
The prior two years resulted in over $50,000 being raised to provide water and sanitation for the people of Zambia!
The third annual Running Water 5k that was held on May 6, 2012, set a new record for money raised. The unofficial total, immediately following the run, was $28,768.65 in registration fees and dontations. In addition, a matching grant will double this amount to $57,537!
Making a Difference
The lives of hundreds of people in Zambia will be forever changed as the result of your participation in this year's event. I would like to thank all runners and walkers, volunteers, sponsors, and donors for your generosity.
It may be too late to run, but we are still accepting donations.
Thanks, again, for your support of those less fortunate than ourselves.

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
We encourage all walkers to find sponsors for their walk. 100% of your registration and sponsor donations go to World Vision to support the village of Twachiyanda in providing clean water, health care, educational and vocational needs.
Thank You, Sponsors!
Because of the generous support of our sponsors, 100 percent (100%) of registration fees and donations are sent directly to fund clean water and hygiene programs in Zambia.
19 different sponsors have contributed to the success of this year's event.
Please patronize Running Water 5K sponsors.
